Welcome to the Home Page of Harleen Powers
Home is where I hang my hats
in the Nation's Oldest City
St. Augustine, Florida

When I'm not at home, I may be working as the Computer Resource Teacher in the Blind Department at The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind. In addition to teaching students (and teachers), I maintain a computer lab of Macintosh and MS-DOS computers. Our lab has a variety of adaptive and assistive devices for visually impaired and blind users. We plan to have our own Home Page soon; meanwhile, we would like to know you. Email sent to me, harleen@aug.com, will be claimed by me, or forwarded to students or to other teachers.

Sometimes when I'm not at home, I'm a graduate student in the MAT-CIS program at Jacksonville University.

When I'm not at home (or at work or at school), you might find me
...rafting the Gauley or the New River in West Virginia: Here's a picture--can you spot me?
The person opposite me on the raft is my son Matthew. You, too, can visit West Virginia.
...finding a home-away-from home: See Kalorama, the B&B I found on the WWW, then visited this summer.
