EPIC Community Services recognized the dedication of Dr. Lothar Krueger by presenting him with an award in appreciation of his contribution to the "Kick Butt - Knocking Out Nicotine" program.

Patricia Greenough, EPIC's Executive Director, said "Dr. Kruger has been instrumental in helping to organize, develop, and implement the program with EPIC. It is the only program of its kind in the St Augustine Community and it has helped a number of people quit the smoking habit."

The program has been so successful that it will return on the 18th of January, 2001 at Flagler Hospital.
