You're Invited: We are seeking couples and individuals to visit us in St Augustine, to see how we worship, what we believe, how we operate and catch the worldwide vision. In addition, we are looking for some couples and individuals to move to St Augustine as part of a 1 or 2 year training period. During the training period, you will work within the ministry of Holy Cross Church, Little Blessings Learning Centers, The Academy and Home Groups to learn how to operate this special ministry in other parts of the world. We are looking for those who want to start a ministry here in the United States, or perhaps want to do missionary work. Assistance and employement is available to qualified individuals and couples. At the end of your training, together we will seek God for a place for you to serve. Assistance will be provided in helping you plant a new church in the chosen area, whether it be in the United States or another country. During this time, you will have access to Bishop +Kersey and visiting ministers from other parts of the country, and from COC ministers around the world who come to Florida to receive training or to participate in Conference meetings. Please contact Bishop +Kersey for more information, or call the Church offices to schedule a time to meet with the bishop or to speak with someone about this fantastic opportunity. And the COC continues to grow, with churches in the Philippines, Bulgaria, United States, West Africa, and soon England. And this website is now in the process of being updated, to include all of the growth of the past 7 years. We have not had, and still do not have a dedicated Website Minister, but we are updating our ministry website, and materials during the latter parts of 2005, as the Lord enables us."
As you journey through our website, please make sure to consider a subscription to The ICON News Journal, a monthly publication of the COC. You will find the ICON informative about the beliefs of the COC and about Spirit filled and Spirit led lives of the great men and women of the early church. As the COC continues to grow and do the ministry of Jesus around the world, we pray that the Lord of the Harvest, will send more workers. Individuals with the courage to stand up to modern society and the liberalism that has infected so much of the church. So many today have placed their faith in Creeds, TV Ministers, Church History, modern versions of the bible, Apostolic Tradition and the decrees of their denominations or independent church leaders. But we see a great vacuum, for those who place their ultimate trust in the HOLY SPIRIT. Friends, the truth does exist, there is much to be learned from the early church, if we will only lay down our pride and arrogance. And truth has no compassion for those who are lukewarm or have unbelief. Truth is not a book or a tradition, Truth is not a what at all, but rather a Who, the HOLY SPIRIT. Listen to the words of a writer during the days of the early church as he describes the view that pagans had of our brothers and sisters from the first few centuries of the church.
